Martial Arts

Martial art lineage

Martial art instructors

I started the martial arts with Shotokan karate in 1998 and 4 years later gained my first black belt (Shodan).

Due to moving, I had to change styles and two years later was awarded my 2nd Dan in Freestyle karate by the WKA.  It was shortly after that I had to take a break due to a couple of injuries. I did attempt to return to the martial arts over the years and gained a few coloured belts (kyu grades), but always had to stop after a few months.

Since being treated by my GP (doctor), Physio and Acupuncturist in 2011, I have returned to the Martial Arts.  Hopefully able to untake the physical, mental and spirtual training once again.
